This zine started off as a project with Clock Tower Radio where Ricky began to write their album, Wahala (released by PTP in August 2019).

They were thinking about psychosis as a reaction to oppressive environments. The project evolved from zine, to album, to a live performance: “An Episode: Ricky’s Room.” Both the album and performance were sonic / visual explorations into their psychological splitting and the way it interacts with their family’s schizophrenia, spirituality, religion, and colonized selves.
