"Makeshift Magazine is an indie arts magazine and collective based in the Bay Area, California. Started as a way to connect friends scattering to different cities and to investigate the relationships that link people to place and each other, Makeshift's first issue, Strange Homes, features art & writing by 21 artists on the theme of home & its complications.
Makeshift Volume One was created & edited by Quentin Freeman & Sasha Shahinfar, & printed by Irrelevant Press in Oakland, CA.
